Your CV and research interests are encoded into a semantic vector and matched against 4.7 million real researcher profiles using hybrid dense+sparse retrieval, then re-ranked to surface active, well-matched supervisors. Every professor and institution in your results is real, sourced from open scholarly data (OpenAlex/ORCID) — and each is shown with their real recent publication activity so you can judge who's worth contacting.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your CV is stored securely on our servers and used only to generate your recommendations. We don't sell or share your personal data. Only your academic information is sent to our AI providers for recommendation generation. Privacy Policy
How many searches do I get?
Every account starts free with 3 searches per month — no card required. Subscribers get 10 per month. The counter resets on the first of each month, and each search returns 5 detailed, personalized recommendations.
What data sources do you use?
Our researcher database is built from ORCID and OpenAlex — the largest open scholarly datasets available. We've indexed 4.7 million researchers across 190+ countries. Coverage is broadest where researchers publish in indexed venues, so it is strong in the sciences and thinner in some humanities and non-English scholarship. No dataset is exhaustive, and we'd rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
